Help, on your
terms.
Technada Remote is the tool our technicians use to see your screen and fix things with you. It only connects when you say so, it tells you the whole time it is connected, and one click ends it.
It runs on Technada's own servers in Canada. It cannot be pointed anywhere else, and that is built into the software rather than left as a setting.
-
Before anything happens
You read your ID and one-time password to the technician. Nothing connects until you do.
-
While it runs
A panel stays on your screen showing the connected ID and how long it has been connected. It does not hide.
-
Whenever you want
End session stops it immediately. You do not have to ask, and you do not have to explain.
What it will not do
Remote support software is worth being careful about. Here is what we designed out rather than left to policy.
No silent connections
An attended session needs you to accept it. Unattended access needs a password somebody deliberately set on that machine. No build we ship carries a built-in password.
No hidden sessions
The session indicator is not a setting and cannot be switched off by the person connecting. If the panel is not on your screen, nobody is connected.
No other destination
The server the software connects to is fixed when the software is built. It cannot be changed by a setting, by a file, by an ID you type, or by renaming the program.

Download
Download Technada Remote for macOS
Universal build for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Requires macOS 12.3 or later. Technada Remote is distributed directly by Technada and is not notarized by Apple, so macOS may ask you to confirm opening the application the first time. Installation help walks through Apple's supported way to do that.
